  If you hear names like "Resurrection Bay" and "Marathon
  Mountain" you are probably at the romantic town of Seward on the
  Seward Highway. The town was named to honor William H. Seward, who
  helped the US purchase Alaska from Russia.
  Near Seward, visitors will find Kenai Fjords National Park and
  the Chugach National Forest headquarters. While in Seward, visitors
  won't want to miss a visit to the Alaska Sealife Center. These
  attractions are available year-round, but Seward has something
  extra during the fourth of July. Celebrating Independence Day in
  Seward means running or watching the Mount Marathon Race and
  participating in events all around Seward.
